Geekiest Tattoo Ever

The tricky thing about tattoos is that they are for life. Permanent. Forever inked into your body. People always talk about getting a silly tattoo, but usually that’s all just talk. Then once in awhile you hear about someone getting a really bad tattoo. My favorite bad tattoo example is either an 8-ball or a donkey on a surfboard smoking a joint. But now I guess I need to add room to that list.

This guy (see image) decided to not only get a bad tattoo, but he added a super nerdy twist to it. In case you don’t know what his head/body tattoo means, it’s a piece of HTML code currently used when making web pages. Like I said, very, very nerdy. What makes it worse is that this tattoo is on his neck. Imagine having to explain your HTML head/body tattoo to everyone over-and-over again the next time you are at a wedding or social event.

Plus think about this. Sure, today HTML is currently a commonly used computer language. But the Internet is evolving fast. I wouldn’t expect HTML to still be that relevant in the next 10 – 20 years. Hopefully techniques in laser tattoo removal will make significant some strides during the next couple decades.

That photoshop or whatever isn’t even close to being real .. cmon? I mean ok the idea is funny, but any half wit monkey can see that it’s not a real tattoo … Besides the obvious looks, tattoos don’t get that black unless a few hours from when they’re made, which makes all the skin very very very red

That means my photoshop spotting skills are below that of a half wit monkey, thanks gunni.

That is some good Photoshop work there if thats what it is I have seen tattoos like that before, with the /html/ code on people and I agree I hope that the laser removal is going to be improving because html will be out dated as fast as the internet is

of course there are people who will get that tat but I bet after the 100th explanation as what it means hes looking for away to get ride of it

Why does it matter if it isn’t a commonly used language in the future? If this guy (lets say its real) Is that much of a geek, he wont care, and if too many people ask, the simple answer to that is “Go look it up”. Some people have a large interest in the current language, and probably dred the day that it goes out. Don’t call him stupid because he got a tattoo that HE likes. Its HIS body. It is not a poor tattoo, nor a poor idea. You be bold enough to go out and get something that you like, that isn’t widely known, tattooed onto your body, in an obvious place, and THEN say something about it. Untill then. Shut up.
