Pizza Vending Machine

by Mark R

Every once in a while, I hear about some weird device that doesn’t sound like it would be a good idea, like a vending machine that can give out hot pizza.

I’m sure that you are all wondering how this can be. After all, pizza is really only good when it is fresh and hot, and most vending machines can only give you snack food like candy bars or anything else that doesn’t have to be heated. Unless you are getting some popcorn or something else that can be microwaved.

Yeah, the pizza vending machine doesn’t seem like a good idea on the surface, but this one is actually designed to prepare fresh dough, shape it in the circle, and then add the sauce, cheese, and other toppings. You don’t have to microwave it afterward, as the “Let’s Pizza” machine will cook it inside the machine itself.

So how much does it cost? Try five dollars for some fresh pizza. I’m willing to part with a five-dollar bill for this.

Right now, the Let’s Pizza is a concept device from designer Claudio Torghele. Is this the beginning of a new way to market pizza? That depends how long it takes to cook. If it is more than 30 minutes, then I want my money back.

probably has someone working inside lol.

i had seen a french fry machine prototype but it’s the maintenance costs and sanitation issues such as dealing with the oil, not to mention mechanical issues.

you would need to outperform microwave foods and fast food places in taste, speed, and costs.

i’m not saying its automatic fail.

japan has a hamburger vending machine but its these terrible hamburgers in a can.

when i was in japan 20 years ago there was a cotton camdy machine. it was a cylinder shaped robot. in the body was what looked like a washing machine. a tube above it would drop pink chunks of sugar into the center then it would spin out the cotton candy. you open the door and then get the cotton candy. that was actually the hard part, since no one really knew the proper way to do so.

On the machine it says 2.5 mins to cook I believe, so that 30 mins comment from the poster is idiotic, I wouldn’t wait 30 mins either.
