Yes, we will have less backward compatability for a while but there is to be a software upgrade that will remedy this... and it will be free. I don't see that the BW compatibality is any different to that of the inferior machine (you know what I'm talking about) except for the fact that Sony is doing something to remedy it whereas MS is not.
