Robogloves – Robocop is Getting Closer
“Is that a gun in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me!”.
Merseyside Police are currently trialling a new type of hi-tech hand wear, the roboglove.
The roboglove has a built in metal detector, so when patting suspects down it will automatically detect things like guns and knives. When a metallic object is detected the officer is informed by the roboglove vibrating.
I hope armed officers remember to turn the glove off before drawing their weapon.
