Plasma Light Bulb

Plasma Light Bulb

I’ve always wanted to own one of those plasma balls where the lightening is attracted to your hand when you touch it. However they’ve always seemed way over priced and I do have some limits when it comes to buying cool but albeit pretty useless crap (those limits are pretty high mind).

However this a really cheap solution, the Plasma Light Bulb, it works like a normal plasma ball but can be screwed into a standard light fitting. It only costs $9.95 which compared to $100 ones I’ve seen seems a real bargain. Available from Scientifics Online found via Funniest Gadgets.

you can get USB plasma balls relatively cheaply (got one for Christmas, its pretty cool). eg here for £10:

Can prob get it cheaper as mine was a secret santa gift which had a £5 limit.
