My 13 year old -washed- his in our front loader washing machine AND dried it inside his pants pocket. I, his father now run with it daily. It sounds perfect. I think these cases must be fabuloulsy well sealed straight off the assembly line. I question whether these units being sold as swim man units are box stock themselves, and the double price just their self-insurance if one fails in the water. Just my .02 Mark M.
