Snowboarding to the Sound of Music

Technology and clothing seems to be merging more and more recently, in the last week alone we’ve had the decidedly dodgy beenie headphones, the multifunctional Xip3 and the cool slide show bag.
Today it’s the turn of the 2007 Burton Audex Motorola Cargo Jacket. The jacket is aimed at snowboarders (skiers too I suppose) and as such offers the essentials that the sport demands (though the Jacket-to-Pant Interface sounds more geeky than boardy).
The gadget side of the jacket is provided by it’s integrated bluetooth system, built in speakers and iPod compatibility (the control of which can be done by the detachable panel on the sleeve (a bit like the technology by Elekson we reported on)).
The jacket costs £420 and is available from freeride-snowboards.
