At first sight it may look like this gadget was pinched out of the wardrobe of a Scifi flick, but it’s actually a real (and potentially useful) product, the face mask body warmer (for want of a better name).

The face mask warms your body indirectly by extracting the heat and moisture from your exhaled breath and then feeding it back to you the next time you breath in (as well as keeping your neck and chin warm).
