it’s painful to get to know the limitations of your applications and servers. there are some other things you can do to help Wordpress move faster. One is to utilize a php accelerator. it’s a little involved for the novice, but really helps. another thing you can do is to make sure mysql is caching. that will help too. good post.

That looks exactly like the sort of frame I’m after, however Momento say it’s available at Currys and PC World which after doing a quick search on both proved not to be the case…

I had been looking for a digital photo frame for ages after hearing all the hype. I visited a store close to my home for a look, but was not impressed with the price tag. I looked around online and found this one; im chuffed to bits! Low priced with high quality, what more could i want! Just shows shopping online is far better than the high street!

If you are looking for a networked digital photo frame, without the need for a local wireless network, then I have setup the following system:

DigiVista ClearView 10 – 10.4″ Digital Photo Frame with USB port
connected to a
Motorola Razr V6 maxx cell phone via USB cable

The phone receives picture messages from other cell phones and the pictures are then displayed directly on the 10.4″ digital photo frame.

I think its a far better solution as it doesn’t rely on any local internet connection – only the cell phone network. Also the screen is 640×480 standard 4:3 aspect ratio.
