Tin Can Speaker Goes High Tech

If you feel you need a little more…excitement in your computer’s desktop speakers, Boost Mobile has teamed up with artists MINT and SERF (from the East Coast) and MAINFRAME (from the West Coast) to produce the Boosted Tin Can Speaker Set Vol. 1.
Seemingly inconspicuous as a pair of dented up tin cans, these speakers are surprisingly functional and reportedly sound amazing. The aesthetic is reminiscent of the old game of telephone where you used two empty cans of Del Monte green beans and a long bit of string to make a rudimentary telephone. Just about every kid born before 1980 (and perhaps a few after) either played with these for fun or set them up for their grade school science fair project.

FCC approves Zune 2 80GB
The FCC has just stamped its approval for the 80GB Zune 2 after the latter has been put through the standard regime of tests in order to have the device comply with various rulings, including allowed radiated emissions. While the 80GB Zune 2 won’t dethrone the iPod anytime soon from its lofty perch, at least there is one more option for consumers to choose from if they want to get their mobile entertainment fix. Do you think the 80GB Zune 2 would finally emerge from its ugly duckling persona into a beautiful swan, or is it doomed to remain a pariah forever?

It’s every consumer’s goal to get more for less. That is unless you’ve got money coming out your ears, then you don’t care how much it costs, as long as you’re the only one that has one. If you’re a frugal shopper in search of a new computer, Everex’s new TC2505g PC might just be what you’re looking for.

Those specs won’t exactly blow your mind, but it’s still enough to take care of your everyday computing needs. The price is what makes this PC really shine. After all, how many other computers can you get for $200?

Hover Lamp

Are you someone that likes to make your house look just a little different than the ordinary home? I really don’t have to put any effort into doing that, as most people don’t have computers and gadgets lying around everywhere. Don’t get me wrong, it’s (mostly) organized, there are just a lot more gadgets about than most people have. If you’re looking to make your place stand out just a bit, you might consider adding a floating lamp to your living space.
