USB Basketball Dunk Game

USB Basketball Dunk

Clearly, computer and laptop users are bored. They are bored, and they need something to play with. That is why Perpetual Kid has made the USB Basketball Dunk, a game taken from arcades and amusement parks and brought directly to the user, in miniaturized form.

The USB Basketball Dunk is a tiny little basketball hoop that attaches to the computer via USB cable. It has four little basketballs, and counts your shots with an LED scoreboard.

DUO Atom knows the right side up

by Edwin

duo-atom.jpgThe DUO Atom cellphone from Korea not only supports two SIM cards, it also boasts an integrated gravity sensor that lets the handset know the right side up. The reason behind this is a no-brainer – in order to know which account will be used, the phone must be rotated the right way up. A change in orientation will automatically reverse the screen and keypad to the other phone account, assuming two SIM cards have been inserted. Pretty neat, eh?

Nerf N-Strike Longshot C S-6

by Mark R

Nerf N-Strike Longshot

Ah, Nerf, where would toys be without you? I am not certain who the audience is for the Nerf N-Strike Longshot C S-6, but I guarantee that it is probably not kids.

After all, the Nerf N-Strike Longshot C S-6 is a sniper rifle. It even has a targeting scope and a fold down bi-pod for some serious accuracy. I’m guessing the audience for this toy are those who really liked Shooter, or that one guy from Saving Private Ryan who kept quoting Bible verses while he pecked off Nazis.

Well, rather than let your adversary physically beat you into submission (or vice versa), go pick up the Continue reading » R/C Pirate v. Ninja set. R/C Pirate v. Ninja = Coolest Thing Ever

Mathmos brings Aduki Bling

by Edwin

aduki-bling1.jpgThe Aduki Bling from Mathmos ain’t no kung fu move, but is an indoor/outdoor metallic light instead that resembles a gold bean whenever it is turned off. Once you power it, the Aduki Bling will change color, cycling through one of the three LED colors. A full charge is capable of powering it for up to 8 hours, and since it is splash-proof, you don’t have to worry about shielding it from rain whenever it pours. The Aduki Bling measures 4.5″ x 3.5″ and retails for $77.

Amazon wows with their new Kindle e-book reader

by Chris

Amazon Kindle

For some time now it has been rumored that Amazon would be releasing their new e-book reader in the near future. Well, this one can officially be removed from the rumor list, as Amazon has indeed spilled the beans on their new Kindle e-book reader. I have to say, this is one of the coolest products of its kind that I’ve seen thus far.

R/C Mini Car To Drive On Your Desk

by Carolyn

usb_minicar_garage.jpgI love R/C cars. They bring back such feelings of nostalgia of playing with them as a kid. Although now that I’m a “Grown Up” and have a desk job, life seems so boring now and I daydream of playing with those cars again.

Imagine my surprise and glee when I went over to Think Geek and found the Continue reading » USB R/C Mini Car w/Garage!! This cute little car and garage set sits on your desk, where the tiny Mini Cooper-like car sits neatly parked in the garage. R/C Mini Car To Drive On Your Desk
