Suck UK offers Mix Tape USB
Just when you thought packaging ideas have gotten old for USB flash drives, along comes the Mix Tape USB from Suck UK.
Remember back in the days before digital music players and MP3s? If you do, then you probably made compilations of all your favourite music, to share with your friends and loved ones, on good old fashioned blank cassette tapes. If you miss making mix tapes this product will inspire you again! Home taping never killed music!
I must say this is one of the more attractively packaged USB flash drives ever, coming in the form of a cassette cover. Looks pretty neat from all angles, eh?

GelaSkins offer Rough Night Out iPod skins

Everybody’s favorite plumbing twins, Mario and Luigi, certainly have had a rough night out if this iPod skin from GelaSkins is anything to go by. Made from 3M vinyl anti-scratch anti-UV coating that is easy to apply and equally easy to remove, this skin definitely adds more than a dash of character to your precious portable media player from Cupertino. I love the way both brothers are presented, eyebags and all complete with a Band-Aid adorning Luigi’s mug. If you haven’t yet gotten any protection for your iPod, perhaps this offering from GelaSkins will persuade you?

Drink up with Pac-Man and gang

ClubNAMCO has announced half a dozen shot glasses that feature characters from the original Pac-Man game, and they are Pac-Man, Inky, Blinky, Winky, and Clyde, and a bunch of Cherries our hero lusts after. I suppose the arrangement of these shot glasses will probably be in total disarray once you’ve knocked back your 15th shot of vodka for the night. There’ll only be 2,500 of these in the world, hence the $29.99 price attached to each glass (!). For those who are too inebriated to count, all six will cost $179.94.

Kameraflage sends a secret message
It seems that cameras of yore and even digital cameras of today tend to snap additional information during a photo shoot compared to what our normal eyes can see. Most of the time, these strange snapshots often depict the supernatural – such as a person who has died a long time ago or even a hideous looking apparition that sends your skin crawling whenever you take a look at it. While many who believe claim that these are not doctored images or deliberately concocted scams, you would be interested to know that technology exists today which enables you to show off your artistic streak that will only be revealed when a photo is taken. This technology is known as Kameraflage, thanks to the silicon chips within digital cameras that enable you to see a broader spectrum of light that is invisible to the naked human eye.

Cool your butt no matter where you are
Don’t you just hate it when you enter a room full of people, and somebody gets off his seat and offers it to you while he goes off to get a brand new seat for himself? The extremely warm feeling your rear end is treated to definitely heats you up the wrong way, as you’ll probably end up with steam coming out from your ears at such treatment. The Self Cooling Seat Cushion is perfect if you want to avoid such a situation, although I must say it looks weird to carry this around wherever you go. This comfortable seat cushion is made from natural minerals that were chosen just for their unique cooling properties. Not only is it reusable, it can also self-regenerate automatically without the help of refrigeration for further use the next day.

Spin your way to a panoramic photo

Capturing a panoramic photo often involves you setting up a tripod, but this concept Panoramic Digital Camera takes a different stance instead. All you need to do is push a button and watch it spin around, capturing a perfect 360ยบ view of its surroundings without missing a beat. The only drawback would be the inability to capture panoramic photos on an uneven surface – something a tripod is more than capable of handling. Features include a memory card and the ability to shoot video as well. Too bad this concept by Hye-Jeong Yang isn’t about to be realized in production lines anytime soon.
Boxing kangaroo attached to pen

Ever wonder why kangaroos in cartoons are often depicted adorning a pair of boxing gloves? Is it because of the extra spring in their steps that make them such effective pugilists? In any case, this pen that comes with a flashing, functional boxing kangaroo looks set to be a great addition in your stationary collection as you and your mates will be able to hold a slug fest during those slow afternoons at the office. Unfortunately, at $15 a pop, they aren’t exactly the most affordable method to keep yourself entertained.

DIA MP3 player launched

Check out this sleek looking portable media player from SAFA of Korea. At first glance, it looks as though the DIA PMP took its styling cues from LG’s iconic Chocolate cellphone. Features include a 2.4″ 260k color LCD display and is compatible with most audio and video formats. In addition, each DIA PMP also comes with eBook compatibility, a miniSD memory card slot for expansion purposes (up to 2GB), a voice recorder, an integrated FM radio, and 8 equalizers. There will be two flavors available – 2GB and 4GB which retails for $150 and $215 respectively. Would you pick this over the iPod nano? The lack of memory is disturbing, but at least you can watch videos on it.
