Give Us a Clue Gadget Style – Motormouth

Here’s a fun looking game for the holidays, Motormouth, an electronic kind of ‘Give Us a Clue’.
There are loads of describe – the-word-without- actually-saying- it-style games. But take it from us, Motormouth renders the whole lot obsolete. In fact this nifty little handheld gizmo is one of the hilariously edgier games we’ve ever played, and we’ve played plenty.

HTC Advantage Docking Station looking good

While HTC is renowned for coming up with Windows smartphones of all shapes and sizes, it is a pleasant surprise to see the company release a docking station instead. The Advantage Docking Station is pretty huge, boasting a second battery charger that ensures you always have juice for your conversations, a couple of USB ports, a miniUSB port for charging and syncing purposes, VGA and S-Video, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. For those who are sure they’d get the Advantage over the iPhone, be prepared to fork out £70 for it. Just make sure you don’t open the package until you receive an Advantage in your hands.

Tankbook comes in a ciggy box
Smokers are slowly but surely finding less and less public space where they can smoke, but here is one interesting idea that helps you create a controversy without even lighting up. The Tankbook actually contains a full length classic novel that has been miniaturized to fit inside a classic cigarette box. These boxes look pretty real by themselves, and come with a flip top, a foil insert, and even a cellophane wrapping for the most authentic look possible. You can pick up replicas of popular brands on the outside with nourishment for your brains on the inside. They retail for $14 a pack and do not cause cancer when read.

Gateway targets artsy fartsy types with E-295c

Gateway might have fallen from its mighty heights from the last decade, but they’re still in business. The 14″ convertible tablet PC known as the E-295c targets animators and illustrators, a fact which is obvious through the pen and digitizer combo from Wacom that is bundled with each purchase. The E-295c has a high-end specification of an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz processor, 4GB RAM, and a 128MB ATi Mobility Radeon X2300 HD video card. Pricing starts from $1,549 upwards. The outstanding feature of the Gateway E-295c would be its swiveling display, making it easy to show everyone around the table your digital drawing board ideas without straining anybody’s neck.

Robot equipped with Tasers now
Remember the Taser XREP that we covered a couple of days ago? Well, apparently those guys at Tasers are pretty productive, as there is word of Taser working with iRobot Corporation to include tasers into the arsenal of robots. Yes sir – now law enforcers will be able to carry out its (sometimes destructive and inhumane) peacekeeping duties without risking life and limb from an exploding Molotov cocktail or otherwise. Neutral observers aren’t too thrilled with this idea though, as there is always the nagging fear that such developments could lead to robots who are self aware, deciding on their own whether to take a human life or not.

R/C Battle Tanks

Remote control toys are cool, remote control toys that shoot each other are even better and that’s just what the VS Tanks are, miniature battle tanks.

New Logitech webcam takes Carl Zeiss route

Webcams are pretty boring stuff – after all, how many of those can you go through before they all start to look the same? There is not much room for improvement in terms of aesthetics, mostly due to the fact that the best place for a webcam to be is still sitting pretty on top of your monitor. Granted, the form factor has changed over the years to accommodate thinner LCD monitors instead of those fat CRTs, but other than that, everything else remained pretty much the same (other than the increasing megapixel count, of course). Logitech has a spanking new webcam that was designed to thrill, and it comes in the form of the QuickCam Pro 9000.
