Day Clock

If you’re one of those people that can’t remember what day it is then there’s a clock especially for you, aptly named the day clock.

The day clock uses advanced technology (a motor and hand) to accurately display what day it is today and with practice can be used to predict what day it will be tomorrow with 99% accuracy.

This is another one of those things you never knew existed (for $39.98).

Personalized Branding Iron

Branding Iron

This is a must have for the summer barbecues, the Monogrammed Barbecue Branding Iron.

When you order it you specify the letters you’d like to brand. Then the next time the flaming coals come out you can sear your monogram onto the food, so we could have an official CG steak. If you are known to do really stupid things when drunk this is a product probably best avoided.

The Monogrammed Barbecue Branding Iron is available from Hammacher for $58.95.

iHome2Go iPod Alarm Clock

iHome2Go Folding iPod Alarm Clock

While traveling in business or pleasure there is always the need for an alarm clock, be it for early meetings or for that afternoon party on the hotel pool that you can’t miss, it all depends on the scenario but one thing is for sure – you need to wake up in a happy mood or else the first hours of the day will be a disaster.

One of the options to wake up in a “happy mood” is listening to your favorite songs, which can be a hard thing to do taking in consideration what kind of alarm clock you have. That is when iHome2GoFolding iPod joins the so called party, this travel alarm clock has all the features you need to name it a good waking up option, take a look:

  • instead of the irritating and normal “beep” sound that 76% of the worldwide alarm clocks have, you can place your iPod in the iHome2Go and start listening to the songs.
  • instead of the absurd and unique (in time) “sleep timer” setting that 56% of alarm clocks have, this one has four options – 90, 60, 30, or 15 minutes. My Sony alarm clock only has a 60 minute sleep timer setting, no other options, and that is why I find this programmable timer so useful.

OCZ Trifecta a multi-tasker

OCZ Technology has been releasing its fair share of innovative and ultra-high performance memory products in the past, and this time the OCZ Trifecta SD card series has come under the spotlight, offering a unique three-in-one solution for those who deal with a myriad of devices. What makes the OCZ Trifecta SD card stand out from the rest is its form factor – it acts as a standard SD card to cater for devices such as digital cameras and digital video camcorders, but for smaller devices such as newer cellphones and portable media players, a microSD card is required and the OCZ Trifecta easily fills this need by removing the microSD portion of the card. Whenever you need to transfer data to a computer or are in need of an impromptu USB flash drive, just remove the bottom part of the OCZ Trifecta to reveal a USB connector and plug it into any available USB port.

Passengers fitted to the T

by Edwin

vfr.jpgPassengers at the Philadelphia Airport will soon be able to kill time by stepping into the Virtual Fitting Room to see if their intended purchases fit them to a T (pun not intended) before busting out that credit card. This is a free service made available to all passengers, and it definitely goes a long way in helping online shoppers get the perfect fit without even shedding a single piece of clothing in the process. All the passenger needs to do is stand fully clothed in the middle of the Virtual Fitting Room for approximately 10 seconds and let the “antenna wand” pass around him/her. This wand will subsequently collect more than 200,000 data points which are subsequently matched against measurements of brand name clothing in the company’s database.
