I have this alarm clock. I'm very disappointed with it. The controls are very finicky and don't work consistantly. Also, the light is VERY weak rendering it almost useless at night to see what time it is. Cool looking clock...ALMOST a great idea. Bad implementation.

[...] It is an alarm clock plus radio…..but with a bit of difference. The moment your alarm goes off, just get up and set the ball rolling! Don’t mistake the ball and the grid on the top for some game. You can change the radio stations by rolling the magnetized ball to another grid intersection. The quilted look of the top is actually a grid - and each intersection of lines is a pre-set radio station. Pressing buttons was getting just too mundane! Each space is a pre-set station, and you can program up to 18 stations, nine AM and nine FM. Just try to remember what spot you use for your favorites! Simply plug it into the wall or feed it with two AA batteries. $60 is all that is needed to set the ball rolling on this ingenious bedside alarm clock. What got me wondering is what if you lose the ball…unintentionally? Source Share and Enjoy:These icons link to social bookmarking sites where readers can share and discover new web pages.
