2 Cool Christmas Gifts For Your Kids

Fridge Phonics Magnetic Letter Set

Christmas is already around the corner next week and if you haven’t bought any presents (or gifts) for your kids, I will present 2 cool suggestions that can be purchased online.

Not only are they good quality wise, but they also have a nice price and kids will most likely love them. The best part is that the toys teach something but in a fun (not boring) way, so instead of playing computer games or spending the whole day staring at a TV with a gaming console, they will have something useful to do.

  • Fridge Phonics Magnetic Letter Set

This is basic (for kids aged 2 to 5) but cool! The simple device can be attached to the fridge thanks to the magnetic part so this is perfect for the whole-day-cooking-sessions because kids will be near you or whoever is cooking.

It comes with the 26 letters of the alphabet, and just by placing each letter inside the device it is able to reproduce the letter name and sound – making it easy and fun to learn the ABCDEF… Another feature is the ABC song that can be played after pressing the musical note icon.

Price: $15

Superman Advanced Bilingual Laptop

  • Superman Advanced Bilingual Laptop

Is there a better way to learn new stuff other than having a SuperHero help? The small laptop is intended for kids aged 5 to 8 and can teach math, logic, spelling, memory and more.

Of course there are games to make the learning task easier (like always), the bilingual part of the laptop takes place on the games, there are 30 on English and another 30 on Spanish.

Price: $30

The fridge phonics is kind of cool, but they ought to provide the letters in lower case. Most kids very quickly pick up letter recognition in capital letters but struggle a bit more with lower case.

You can however pick up the lower case set for another $20.

Thanks for the tips! The alphabet one sounds great, self-contained and easy to use. If I had little boppers that age I’d check it out. Unfortunately, I’m at the iPod, video game, GPS, computer phase. Much more expensive!
