dream-arcades.jpgMost ladies would abhor such a huge set up in the living room, but blokes who were weaned on video games instead of milk would just go nuts at the sight of having one in the house. The 100″ Home Video Arcade Center from Dream Arcades is just the perfect thing to get for the man in your life, but be prepared to be ignored for weeks on end as he showers more love on the joysticks than romancing you with flowers, chocolates, and a lovely dinner downtown.

The 100″ Home Video Arcade Center is powered by an AMD Athlon 64 3200+ processor and is pre-loaded with all the necessary emulator software required to run all the greatest classic arcade games from publishers like Atari, Midway, Digital Leisure, Namco, and Capcom. The control panel will make you think you’re in gaming nirvana - it consists of a 2 player control panel with 6 buttons per player, 2 pairs of side pinball buttons, a bunch of utility buttons, and integrated spinner with a fire button, and a 3″ lighted trackball. The DLP projector boasts a brightness level of 2000 lumens, a contrast ratio of 2000 to 1, and a maximum resolution of 1400 x 1050 for the best big screen arcade experience possible.

In addition to its impressive game playing ability and exhaustive list of games, the Home Video Arcade Center also doubles up as a Music Jukebox and Home Theater. With a wireless audio and video connection capability, there won’t be any more worries about tripping over wires. Those who love rail shooters will also be pleased to know that a light gun and House of the Dead III has been included into the $4,499 package (which is the introductory price - the normal retail price is $499 more expensive). With more than 100 games to keep you entertained, you’d probably take a 2-month break and enjoy every single gaming moment before returning to the real world with dazed eyes and an unshaved face.

[...] Nearly every kid in Britain looks forward to those Saturday afternoon kick offs at stadiums all over the country to see their favorite soccer stars in action, and would love to be in the shoes boots of someone earning an obscene £50,000 a week. It is then that they can pick up cool gadgets like the 100″ Home Video Arcade Center without blinking an eye, and get the entire neighborhood gifts for Christmas while having enough left over to purchase an exotic sports car after saving up for a few months. Unfortunately, not everybody has the skills required to make it to the top level, but you can still have your soccer fun minus the adoration of female groupies who want to have your babies with the Connectv Football game.
