TrioBike

TrioBike has developed the perfect product for sportive parents. It is a normal bicycle, a carrier bicycle and a stroller. Now parents will be able to take their children for a ride, stroll them around or even drop them with someone else and carry on cycling by themselves, all with a single product. The company states that the three transformations can be performed easily, without the need of extra tools.
“A carrierbike is a fantastic invention for transporting the kids in. But once the kids have been delivered in day care/kindergarten and you are working the pedals, it is probably one of the most useless inventions. With the Danish designed trioBike, you can easily take of the front carrier and change the carrierbike into a bike and a pushchair.”
Here are some of the technical details:
- seat with built in red light diodes
- alumnium frame
- brake handle with parking lock
- disc brakes
- pushchair with room for 2 kids between 0 and 9 years old
- two five-point safety belts for the kids
- fireproof hoods and seats
- integrated front and rear lights
The price is quite high, but not astronomical considered the quality of the products. The bicycle features a Shimanu Nexus 7 speed gear, and the cost of the bike alone is $1200. The pushchair, on the other hand, starts at $1800 but can go up to $2800 depending on the colors you choose and whether you include a hood or not. The price of the 3 in 1 combo, which features both the bike and the pushchair, is $4000.
Once you purchase a bike you will be eligible for service check-ups (the first one being free), and the product has a warranty of 2 years. It is already being sold locally in Denmark, United Kingdom, Belgium, Luxembourg and Italy.
