Heated Seat Cushion

by Tiago

Heated Seat CushionThere are plenty of car seat cushions on the market, but most of them don’t include the main feature of the Heated Seat Cushion – which is to heat your seat of course. Not only it has that hot feature but it also looks and feels good because the exterior material is leather.

  • How it works:
  • Just plug the Heated Set Cushion 12V outlet in your car and you are good to go. Seriously, it is that easy. Other features include an auto shut off to prevent a fire madness to occur, and a built-in thermostat so you can check the temperature.
It can be used on a car, truck and even on a boat – to accommodate the most strange seats it has an elastic strap.

  • How it affects you:
  • In case it is winter time, the seat will heat the bottom part and lower back area. So, instead of feeling cold and depressed, you will feel warm and loved.

In case it is summer time, you probably won’t be using this unless you are crazy or simply need to burn some calories.

I could see myself using this during the 4 coldest months of the year, meanwhile it would be on stand-by mode on a package inside the garage, just getting more and more dust… But, I believe that most truck drivers that pass hours driving on the severe winter time will enjoy having a heated seat.

Anyway, if you are interested on the Heated Seat Cushion, you will be delighted to know that it only costs $25.

PS – if you have a huge car/truck and want to heat the back seat, take in consideration that the power cord only has 5 feet (1.5 meters).

I found a battery powered version from Gerbing’s Heated Clothing which uses a small rechargeable lithium battery pack. It not only works great for the car but also for taking to baseball field to watch my nephews play. Check it out here http://www.coreheat.net It is real high quality and comfortable to sit on, plus really pushes out a lot of heat
