Hannspree LCD TV aesthetically pleasing
Hannspree does produce some pretty nifty LCD TVs, but so far the ones that they are famous for would be those plush-covered LCD TVs that are meant for a single person or two pairs of eyes at max. The company is now looking at the bigger picture with the Hannspree Lounge model that comes surrounded by a curved panel of faux wood, making it a totally different proposition when it comes to positioning and placing this LCD TV in the living room. This particular form factor will surely defer anyone from hanging up this 37″ High-Definition ready display on a wall, but instead placing it in the middle of the living room where everybody can watch their favorite movies and shows in picture perfect quality.
The Hannslounge TV features a WXGA resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, boasting a widescreen aspect ratio of 16 to 9, a contrast ratio of 1,200 to 1, and a brightness level of 500cd/m2. You also get a pretty wide viewing angle of 178 degrees which makes it suitable for the entire family to indulge in. With an 8ms response time, the Hannslounge TV is more than capable of handling its fair share of fast-paced movies and high-octane action without glaring problems like blurring.
Additional specifications include an integrated HDTV tuner, a pair of 12W speakers, simulated surround sound feature, and an audio equalizer amongst others. The Hannspree LCD TV comes in 23″, 32″, and 37″ models that retail for $1,200, $1,500, and $1,900 respectively. The latter two are also equipped with a memory card reader which comes in handy when you want to share your favorite digital photographs without the need to turn on a PC.
