Kanguru 32GB flash drive is the pits

kanguru-32gb.jpgThose who are suffering from a bad case of penis envy would do well to check out the Kanguru USB thumb drive which pooh-poohs at other flash drives which hold a mere 1GB to 8GB of data. Those who are looking for a tiny USB flash drive which has plenty of storage real estate would do well to check out the Kanguru as it comes with a whooping 32GB of space, dwarfing all other available alternatives in the market. It is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems and does not require the installation of device drivers, making it a truly versatile device for those who work with large files.

The Kanguru 32GB USB 2.0 flash drive also comes with the KanguruShield security software than enables Windows users to password protect their data in case in order to minimize any unwarranted data theft. You can also format the 32GB and split it into different partitions for easier data management. Physically, the Kanguru 32GB flash drive comes in a rugged aluminum exterior that offers unprecedented durability.

Unfortunately, the mammoth storage space is about all that is good about this USB 2.0 flash drive. The product page states that the write speed of this USB flash drive is rated at 15MB/s, while read speed stands at 20MB/s, which means it would take a good 35 minutes or so to fill up the entire Kanguru drive. The other major drawback would be the extremely high price tag of $1,499 which makes its purchase virtually unjustifiable. You’re much better off plonking some money for a hard-drive based external storage solution and save yourself a ton of money in the process.
