Very ingenious invention. I have two Edmonton Dodge cars in our house, and yes, they are indeed space consuming. With this, I can make use of the extra space allotted for the garage for more useful purposes - like constructing a play room for you child for example. Phatonpark underground car lifts are great, although I'm sure it would not be cheap.

Another out of the box thinking. This is indeed ideal in urban areas where space is expensive. Especially for those who love to have many cars.

I can't seem to watch the video at their website because something is missing. I really want to have a clear picture on this. Pictures will do.. I hope you can post some or you can update me on this. This is a problem in my place because me and my husband have our own cars. We have our own schedules on who will park his or her car in the garage. Funny, isn't it. I think this will solve our problem.. Great post post again!

A great space saving idea indeed. This reminds me of some amusing parking styles in Japan. I would agree with Vancouver dodge though that in some flood prone areas, installing this underground might not be a very good idea.

The PhatonPark Underground Car Lifts demonstrate a very practical concept but I agree with Dotty in regards to it being classified as a cool gadget. Maybe it has some features that blog administrators might have not included. Also, when you have underground facilities, the thought of getting flooded must always be considered. Nevertheless, it is a space saving facility that urban dwellers must have.

They are priced at $40,000 for the Phantom Park, $61,900 for the Car Dok single lift, and $72,000 for the Car Dok double lift so they arn't really a cheaper solution then buiding a garage
