OpenX
Everybody knows the warm and fuzzy feeling you get after purchasing a new gadget, and if you’re like me, as soon as you get into the car, you’re ready to open it. The only problem is that the gadget is under about a pound of thick plastic that your have no hope of getting open unless you’ve got a real nice pair of scissors handy.

Finally there’s a cheap way to totally eliminate this problem; it’s called the OpenX. It looks flimsy at first glance, but it will easily cut through any plastic you throw at it. Including those pesky ones that cover your precious gadgets.

The OpenX even opens a variety of other things including:

  • FedEx envelopes, etc.
  • cereal bags
  • DVD wrappers
  • snack and drink pouches

This thing is worth every penny, simply because it allows you to never have to mess with a pair of scissors again when trying to open a gadget. You won’t even cut the instructions in half; you’ll get a completely clean cut every single time.

Having a OpenX around the house and in the car will save everybody a lot of time and frustration. The best part about all this is an OpenX only costs $5! That’s cheap enough that you might as well buy three or four

This is every bit as good as advertised. I bought one and it easily cuts right through those aggravating plastic encasements that used to ruin the fun of getting a new gadget.
