I think that was a great idea. Instead of you bring a key you just put your fingers in your door. Thank you for the information. Thank you.

Are there many instances of the system not working, and not recognising fingerprintes that it should.

For the price tag $199.00 I would not rely to heavily on this gadget and given the feedback it may be worth retailers informing the manufacturers that their after sale service must improve.

Hi, I own a ADEL fingerprint lock and I live in Wisconsin. I bought this lock for my home about a 1.5 years ago and it worked fine until it got -10 f then it is a question ? The fail safe lock (key) failed the the lock froze up and could not get into my house. Ok I can deal with this but what is worse the factory rep's will not call you back. I called different places and ONE BIG BRICK WALL. no service for this lock. What is up with this? Before you buy one. ASK about service and climet. Not for the north. Lock # LA9-3-b Residental. Good luck on your quest. John H

It would cool if you needed a fingerprint AND a key to use the lock and they operated independently from each other, otherwise I wouldnt trust it.
