Very small cameras with good specifications are hard to see, but this Keychain Camera is suppose to be different (in a good way).

To start with, this camera is tiny, if the dimensions (1.5×2.5×0.75 inches) don’t give you an idea of how small it is, I can inform that it is shorter in length and weight when compared to a credit card. Maybe it’s better if you check it yourself, so visit Sizeasy and add the size that I previously mentioned (the one in brackets) to compare with other items.

With something so small you wouldn’t expect a camera to have 3 megapixels, but it does and there is another positive point which is the usability that makes it a 2-in-1 cool gadget: it can either serve as a normal camera, or a web cam for the computer. The resolution supports depends how you use the camera: if your intention is to record a video expect a 320 x 240 resolution and a maximum length of one minute and a half; while using it on the computer it has a 640 x 480 resolution; and finally the big image with the help of a fixed focus lends delivers 2560 x 2048 pixels.

In terms of storage capacity it has 8MB of internal memory and an extra slot for a SD card to expand the “space”, also features USB to transfer files to/from the computer and works with only one AAA battery.

The only thing left we need to know is how good are the pictures/video quality, the Keychain Camera is available at Hammacher for $70.
