Arcade Legends

Arcade LegendsIf you’re one for feeling nostalgic, definitely check this one out, it will almost make you feel young.

Arcade Legends looks exactly like one of the machines you’d see in an arcade, with the joysticks, buttons, and monitor.

Instead of having about 10 different machines, each with different games, you get all of your favorites packed into one. The standard unit comes with over 50 games, which include Asteroids, Berzerk, Centipede, Millipede, Missile Command, Street Fighter II, Super Breakout, Tempest, and Mortal Kombat. There’s tons more, but those are the coolest.

There’s definitely the option for some two player action. You have two joysticks, a track ball, and easy-to-push buttons, if there even is such a thing. A nice technological improvement is the 25” monitor. They’ve realized people’s vision doesn’t exactly get better with age. (har har)

If you really need some more games, there is an option to purchase an extra game pack, which will cost you $700! Of the 23 games, not many are notable, and it doesn’t seem at all worth the price.

You’ll have plenty of time to make space for this behemoth, which is over 2 feet wide and is nearly 6 feet tall. Once you’ve got it in place, it’s best to keep it there, unless you can lift 300 pounds.

The Arcade Legends system, along with all your favorite classics, costs $3,700, and if you actually go for the extra game pack, which lacks any exciting titles, that price will jump to $4,400! Available from Front Gate.

Its a nice machine, but costs waaaaay too much and doesn’t come with enough good games, check this out:

Awesome Arcades Games:

Now these really are… Errr Awesome!

Really cool cabinets, they’ve got a big unit and a small unit that even comes off its base and you can put on your dresser in your dorm room or on a bartop in your parents basement.

They are LOADED with 150 games, even old Atari 2600 games! Imagine playing Combat with real arcade joysticks, hey its even got a lightgun for playing gun games.

Pricing is sooo much better and shipping is free, the Arcade Legends charge you all that money AND then you gotta fork over like $300-$400 to get it shipped, no way!
