As a parent of two very young kid, I am so concerned that I couldn’t hear the baby crying when we were in the basement and the baby was upstairs in her bedroom. I wonder if the wireless can reach the basement.

You have some great points Mike. It’s amazing how far baby monitors have come. Now even with night vision. What’s next? We used the old fashion audio monitors when we had our kids and they did help relieve some stress of knowing if they were ok. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I am a grandfather of 5 beautiful grand kids and I always buy each new grand child a baby monitor and have become somewhat an expert on baby monitors. I know they can be lifesaving devices and would encourage every new parent to invest in one. I feel that I have make each grand child a little safer.

Let me say that I am a father of three beautiful children. As parents our main priority is to make sure that our babies are safe and secure at all times, at whatever expense necessary. Baby monitors are just one way to help parents relieve some of the stress associated with being a concerned parent and as new parents or expecting parents, there is enough stess with just that alone. So, if baby monitors can relieve some of the stress (regardless of how small) it’s certainly worth it. Just my two cents.

Hidden Wireless Cameras are coming in all kinds of ways. There are some that are baby wipes, wall clocks, ballerina dolls, motion detector, air freshners, cd players, alarm clocks and wall mirrors; just to name a few. Hidden cameras can be used to watch the baby while sleeping, but also to watch the nanny while mom is away from home or just to watch your home when you are not there.

Excellent, just bought it in the US, as here in eruope video monitors are not yet available. My wife is now not running every 5 minutes to the babyroom when the baby makes a noise. A video monitor is really cool. we are using it also with a wireless router in parallel, and no interference,
