This is a simple modification to the conventional 3-way plug, the slimplug lets the 3 pins fold into the plug.

The Slimplug is useful when you are really stretched for space in your hand luggage, instead of having 3 pins taking up an extra spare inch or so you could fold them away (it’s also probably a lot more comfy to stand on than a conventional plug, which I have done on the odd painful occasion).

I do like the idea but as each slimplug costs £9.99 (~$18) I can’t really justify the cost for that extra inch of space. Available from and more info over at Slimplug.
