The Powerbar

The PowerbarIf you find you don’t have the time to get out to the gym and want an easy, cheap way to work out, the power bar could be for you. The Powerbar is a very well designed pull-up bar which can be used almost anywhere by people of just about any height!

The great thing about this bar is that you don’t have to hack apart your door or wall to set it up. There is no screwing involved so you could put it away when you’re finished and store it until next time. It is easily fixed to the door frame with a smart pressure-transferring and relieving design so you don’t rip down the frame.

When attached to the top of the frame it is about 78 inches from the floor which allows even taller users to get their feet off of the ground. It’s much more efficient as well since it features a second bar to support your fore-arm giving you precise pull-ups without letting you swing all over the place.

The bar is also an important part of the pressure-transferring mechanism as it allows only part of the pressure your weight creates to be put on the frame. This makes it much less harmful to your door frame and wall while giving you better support at the same time.

If you want to get off the couch and start building some muscle without having to get out and join a gym, give the Powerbar a try. It’s just £29.95 from Boys Stuff.
