Bose QuietComforts

by Mike in Miscellaneous Gadgets

BOSE HeadphonesWhen Bose came out with the QuietComfort 2s, everyone wanted a pair, even if they were a little bulky. Other than that, they were an excellent pair of headphones with awesome sound quality and excellent noise-cancellation technology.

Now the new Bose QuietComfort 3s are out and they’re better than ever. The engineers at Bose essentially shrunk down the electronics so that the headphones just slip right on your ears, removing the bulkiness of the previous model. You still get the same quality audio and state of the art noise canceling technology, just in a smaller package.

The most popular feature on the QuietComforts are there excellent noise cancellation technology, now instead of having to crank the volume all the way up to hear your DVD on the plane, you can just pop on your QuietComforts and listen in peace.

The headphones are powered by a rechargeable battery that will last you up to 20 hours, or just about any flight you take. A standard wall-socket charger is included to charge your headphones. Also included is a handy carrying case, in which the headphones fold up to fit snugly.

If you’re not particularly interested in the noise-cancellation functionally (why wouldn’t you!?), the QuietComforts also deliver pristine audio quality, which is great for the audiophiles out there.

Unfortunately, you pay a premium for these headphones, a pair of Bose QuietComfort 3s will run you a cool $350. Find them at any Bose retail store or on their website.
