In-Use Indicator

In-Use Indicator
This is a gadget that I can’t believe isn’t part of a standard phone. I find the most annoying thing when you want to make a call is when you pick up the phone and there’s already someone talking on it. It’s even more annoying when you start dialing without listening to see if it’s clear too ;).

The In-Use Indicator easily solves this annoying problem. It simply lights up a red LED light when the line is in use, just as simple as that.

It’s very easy to setup, only requiring that you plug it into your phone via the phone jack. It then just runs off of one 9-volt battery.

This would be so helpful so you don’t walk in on peoples’ calls, or even worse disconnect someone from the Internet if you’re on dial-up! It will even alert you when the line becomes free and should give your house a little bit more order to it.

This very helpful, yet very simple gadget is available from Gizmo City for $14.95.

I’m looking for an “In-use Indicator”that you showed for phones at $14.95 available from Gizmo City. However I cannot get to their website and wondered if you know of any active places where I might obtain this device.

Thanks,
