Air Soccer

Air Soccer
This is a very cool gadget which I would like to try. The Air Soccer disk is a floating disk which is almost like a larger game of air hockey which you can play anywhere there is a smooth surface! It works sort of like a small hover craft as it floats on its own self-generated cushion of air. This allows you to play all kinds of games with it such as hockey, soccer, even bowling if you wanted to.

You just switch it on, give it a push, kick or hit of some kind and you’re off to a fun game of whatever you want. It is also perfect for playing indoors as it has an outer rim which will protect walls or furniture from being damaged.

The Air Soccer floating disk can be used on surfaces such as hardwood floors, low-pile carpeting or even on pavement so you could have several hours of fun with it playing all kinds of different games.

The disk measures 18.5 x 6.5 cm in height and diameter. It also requires 4 AA batteries because of the power of the hover action.

I think this would be really awesome to try out and see just how much of a beating you could give this gadget in a game of soccer ;).

Probably the most amazing thing about this gadget in my oppinion is its price of just £9.95. I would think that something so unique would cost more. It is available from The Gadget Store.

very disappointed Says: November 8, 2007 at 9:01 am

I bought three of these at The Book People in Austin, TX for myself and as gifts because they looked so fun. We got home and put batteries in it and had a blast for all of 5 minutes and then it simply stopped working. The batteries are put in the shape of a square (one on top, one on each side and one on bottom) and it just isn’t effective. I thought it was just ours that was defective so I opened the other ones I bought and those 2 didn’t work AT ALL. There was no power getting to them or something. It was a huge disappointment because for those 5 minutes it was a BLAST. I’m hoping someone revamps the design so that it actually works!
