I already had one of these batteries died and i never went out to buy new ones so reading above someone mentioned USB. The fan is 3 volts a USB socket on a computer is 5v and the electric motor take 2.5-5v so ive just wired it into a usb (bespoke wire pin1 + / pin4 -) it now works better that ever, chuffed and chilled in my office…

This would be cool for many applications. Boating, caravan and of course emergency home cooling. I do imagine that it is expensive to run if on the electricity grid.
