Samsungs Synmaster

Syncmaster

So you’ve finally got your LCD flat screen monitor. You can now enjoy a high resolution screen which takes up half the space your old monitor did. Any draw backs? There’s one.

You can’t move your flat screen that easily. With a normal CRT screen, you can swivel the screen with you need to show your colleague a funny email and move it back into place again. Flat screen just don’t have the same flexibility. It’s something I never really noticed until I saw the SyncMaster CX913P, the new 19” Flat screen from Samsung.

With this gadget, you can turn your screen in almost any angle. Not sure why you would want to look at the screen at these weird angles, I can only think, just because you can! Whatever you look at in the privacy of your office at any angle is up to you! By easily adjusting the angle of this screen, you know longer have to mess about with your chair height to see it properly. Also, you can plug your mouse and keyboard directly into the screen as it has a USB 2.0 hub. It has the contrast ratio of 1500:1 and offers 6ms speed.

If you haven’t already got yourself a flat screen monitor, I think this should be your purchase. No point in getting a 19” flat screen and discovering you really want this one instead! I mean look at this picture, it just screams cool.

At the moment they are available in Korea for approximately $511 (£278) which is not bad. Found via Engadget.
