[...] Wenig los hier, das gebe ich zu, aber ich hab euch meine Ausrede ja schon genannt: Ich bin momentan auf einem Hochpunkt meiner Lernphase (trotz WM, das lässt sich gerade so noch kombinieren) und vernachlässige daher meine treuen Leser aufs Gewaltigste. Glaubt ihr mir nicht? Euer Pech. Vor allem, da ich keinen Türspion hab, durch den ihr meine Aussage überprüfen könntet. Wie, “da kann man doch eh nur raus und nicht rein gucken”. So ein Quatsch… Dank dieser tollen Erfindung ist es nun auch möglich, durch die Türspione in die Wohnung zu schauen, es sollte sich also niemand mehr sicher fühlen. Und was macht man, wenn man nun durch den Türspion eine Sache entdeckt hat, mit der man die betroffene Person so richtig schön erpressen könnte, man aber nicht gut in Erpressungen ist? Auch für solche Leute gibt es im supertollen Internet eine Lösung: Bei extortr (natürlich beta) kann man seine Beweisfotos hochladen und dem Opfer wird ein anonymes Schreiben geschickt, dass er eine bestimmte Summe überweisen soll. Tut er dies nicht, wird das Bild automatisch veröffentlicht. Klingt nach einem Scherz? Ist es auch. Und für das ironieresistente Volk (das lässt mich einfach nicht mehr los) haben sie es auch extra dazu geschrieben: “This isn’t actually a genuine web site. Hi Dons Tag. Fair point about the possible invasion of privacy and abuse of this gadget, but now we’re aware that such a spy gadget exists, we can put movable flaps on our peepholes

To me it’s silly that some folks don’t know that this is possible. I think was about 2nd grade when my class was introduced to telescopes, and what’s natural… reverse it.

As far as any government thinking it works for the people, they threw all that out in these “terrorist legislations”, the ones that don’t go after foreiners, but go after citizens, and really can be used against anyone they’re so broad.

Maybe technically though, there was court case that ruled against helicopters doing infared attempts at finding drug dens. If that was an invasion of privacy, reversing an open view should be too. However anyone who leaves something like that unblocked is an idiot.

In the end though, there has to be a good reason for doing something like that, the tech is there, and idiots abound.
