Clear Acne with Chocolate

by Al

Acne Clearing ChocolateAcne, spots and blackheads can be a real pain especially for the younger generation. I know when I was younger I used to get spots on my face at the worst possible of times (i.e. before nights out). A sure fire way I could guarantee to get zits and blackheads on my face would be to eat sweets and chocolates.

It now seems the opposite may now be true thanks to Borba (a manufacturer of cosmetics and skin care products) who have just released a new type of Swiss-made dark chocolate that contains patented BORBA skin clarifying boost to promote clarity, prevent breakouts and reduce irritation and redness.

If it works this could be every zitty teenagers dream food (and adults too for that matter).

Borba skin care chocolate is available from NordTrom (found via Strange New Products).

You should do a little research before making some comments. Chocolate has been proven not to cause acne. It’s stress and overall diet.

Thanks for pointing that out Phred. I was speaking about zits and blackheads (from personal experience) I was fortunate enough to never have acne.

Chocolate has always caused zits for me too. Stressed or unstressed. I have an excellent diet.

The causes of acne are still not clear. It’s not proven that it’s stress, nor that it’s chocolate. Although, I must say that I find it quite interesting that this chocolate can cure skin problems. Never heard of something like that before…

I agree with Kevin. It’s a new one on me that chocolate can cure acne. It would go down a storm here in the UK. I think it could be a bit like some of the hangover cures. They work for some people but makes things worse for others.
