Racing Cups Game

June 1st, 2006 by Al in Sport, Toys

Racing CupsCups is a popular game in the States (or so I’ve read) where players have to stack cups in different arrangements as quickly as possible. It looks like the craze (which is actually a sport believe it or not) is going to being hit the UK shores anytime now, thanks to Firebox’s Racing Cups.

The Racing Cups games comes complete with 12 Race Cups, a Race Mat, timer and carry cag so you can take it anyway (a fun holiday game springs to mind). As the timer remembers your best time it has that all important “must have another go” factor.

Cool animated stacking cups
Watching videos of “professional sportsmen” stacking cups is mind boggling quick. If you fancy your own set you can get them from Firebox which is probably a better idea than playing with conventional glasses :).

“Cups” is not a favorite game in the states. I’ve lived here for almost 30 years and have never seen it except when people are trying to sell the idea.

Thanks Chris, it’s often difficult to tell the spiel from the facts when you don’t live there. Still looks a cool holiday game though :).

This is called sport stacking, and is very popular in the states. Thousands of schools are doing this. It is also in the UK and done with Speed Stacks. They are the real and original product. Too see some really cool videos of real stackers, check out http://www.speedstacks.com/videos.htm You will be amazed.
