The Green Three Wheeler

The CLEVER CarLooking a bit like a futuristic Go-Kart with a roll cage this is the University of Bath’s answer to the congestion problem found in many UK towns and cities.

Known as the Clever (Compact Low Emission Vehicle for EUrban RTransport, they obviously got stuck after V) Car this tiny machine is capable of speeds up to 100 km/h (60mph in real money) which doesn’t sound that fast but when you take into account how close to the ground your butt is may be fast enough.

One of the main aims of the Clever car is ecological, which it helps achieve by running off compressed natural gas. According to Dr Jos Darling (nice name) , a senior lecturer in charge of the Clever project:

It costs less to run, is quieter and is less polluting,”

The car also tilts when going round corners which looks kind of cool. You can find more info about it on the BBC News site.
