		<description>Um, just a word of caution: Seagate has had problems with quality control again. Apparently the fab plant where these drives are made has a contamination issue, and a lot of these cheap 300 GB drives are actually ones that are prone to failure within the first year due to contaminants on the platters clogging up the R/W heads. Rather than dump the drives into the local garbage dump, they&#039;re dumping them instead on the unsuspecting home consumer market and putting a year warranty on them only.
