Considering how new the Internet is (relatively speaking) I’m amazed at how reliant on it we have become. I started using the Net over 10 years ago at Uni, back then it was mainly an educational resource with newsgroups being what forums are today. Nowadays I won’t make a significant purchase in a shop without checking online first (and often buying via the web in preference).
