I've been playing my trumpet for nearly five years, and I'm here to tell you that this is the biggest waste of money ever. To the author of the article: Your daughter will NEVER improve as a musician with something like this. Humming? Pfft. It is true that learning to play the trumpet is nasty for those in close proximity...but only until the student improves, which happens relatively quickly especially if you allow them to practice their actual instrument. With this, you're basically paying $400 to help your kid learn fingerings. Get off the stage.
