The ‘world’s smallest’ External HDD

Worlds Smallest Hard Disk
Japanese firm Elecom have just announced their release of the world’s smallest hard disk drive and it is tiny measuring 6.8 x 3 x 1.3cm.

Details about it are pretty sketchy at the moment, but the 4GB version (MF-DU204G) will set you back about $227. Considering you can get similar capacity flash drives a lot cheaper, I’ll be interested to see what performance is like with this ultra portable HDD.
