Kerala Trance Binary Watch

by

Kerala Trance Binary WatchI’m a big fan of good watches and geeky watches and this new time piece from Firebox fits quite nicely into both categories, theKerala Trance Watch.

The Kerala Trance is about as geeky as watches get. The time is displayed in binary format which initially will take a bit of calculating to work out the time but once you get used to it, it will become second nature.

The only thing I feel that lets this watch down is the boring black leather strap, I was expecting something a bit more futuristic. It also commands a bit of a high price (100UKP) and is available from Firebox.

I definitely have a Kerala Trance. I bought it while on board Emirates to The Seychelles Islands late 2008. I just love it. Friends and acquaintances get trouble understanding its working. Others actually do not bother asking me how it works – it definitely requires some elementary brain work to use, but once you get accustomed, its just fun. Its a special piece. Its probably not yet available in East Africa, and that’s not a problem – so to say.
