Excuse me?! Don't assume all disabled people have grandchildren. Some of us are still in our 30's!

Colours Wheelchairs has a wheelchair called the Tremor. The advantage that the Tremor has over the Landeez is that the "Fatso Tires" have handgrips and the wheelchair occupant can push themselves independantly. With the Landeez you need to be pushed.

You can even buy the Fatso Tires alone and put them on almost any standard wheelchair, as long as the wheelchair does not have breaks or mudflaps that will get in the way. However, the Tremor even has large front castors that will not sink in the sand. If you put the Fatsos on a standard wheelchair with normal front castors, you will need to wheelie.

Check out the Tremor. It is a good chair for beach and off-road terraine.

I absolutely LOVE this all terrain wheelchair. My dad loves the beach and he hasn't been able to visit it since he suffered a stroke in 2004. I'm going to tell him about this chair. Thank you!
