Mimobot’s
by Anita in PC Gadgets
Meet Magma one of the new mimobot designer toy USB flash drives. He is just one of several new and “can I say adorable?” flash drives available to give your computer its own personality.
These great interactive toys so to speak will bring style, personality, and even life to your personal tech devices. They come in 256MB, 512MB, 1GB, and 2GB (all Hi-Speed USB 2.0) and are compatible with Windows and Mac. As stated by Mimoco these “mimobots are made with love in the USA.”
They are not only cute, but are also very useful for storing all of your data, music, pictures, presentations, videos, and practically everything else you need to store. There are actual flash memory drives.
They will not hold exactly the MB’s mentioned due to the flash memory design, testing and formatting. So, just get one with a bit more memory than you need to ensure you can save all of your goodies.
When your mimobot tail’s is lit up, he is in use and you should not remove him or you can lose all kinds of data that he was saving.
These unique little mimobots have been certified by FCC/CE, which means that passed all the tough consumer electronics testing in the United States, Europe, and Asia. However, you must take care of your new pet by not allowing him to stay in the sun, take a bath, or give him to your toddler to play with. He is fragile when it comes to too much playful attention. He has small parts and is not recommended for anyone under the age of 13.
You new mimobot is about 2 3/8 inches by 1 1/8 inches by ½ inches.
From the Mimoco website comes the story of the Mimobots of planet blõôh. Here is the beginning of their story and how they came to earth: “we, mimobots, have traveled a long time across multiple parallel systems to reach earth. we come from our beloved planet blõôh located in galaxy 4210 where we have been living harmoniously since the time of no age.” To learn how you can adopt one of these creatures and give him a home on earth visit Mimoco or to buy you can get them from ThinkGeek.com.
