"Why would someone pay for this?"
Good question. I guess it's the same with most people using something like MS Office instead of Open Office. It's a well known product, heavily advertised, and even though there might be a free solution, it is usually worth paying for. I've been using some other stand alone PDF Creator solution myself for some time now, and I actually paid $29 for it. But it works great, the support team kindly helped me with some problems, and it's way cheaper than Acrobat's official solution. But thanks for bringing up the PrimoPDF title! My license has almost expired so I might as well check this software out, if it's free anyway :)

This would be great if PrimoPDF didn't offer the same program for free without the annoying logo. Why would someone pay for this?

There is a new version of novaPDF 3.0 which I have followed up and wrote about it in SoftSift.

This new version contains several enhancement and some minor bug fixes.

Have fun with it.
