Mushkin REDLINE XP4000

On April 2005, Mushkin astonished the enthusiasts by releasing what many considers, the best and fastest DDR memory modules available for AMD Athlon64 platform. Originally, the XP4000 REDLINE modules were introduced as 512MB modules available in both single and dual channel (1 GB) kits.

The manager of Research and Development, Mushkin Inc., Brian Flood, stated “Mushkin named these modules REDLINE to denote the extreme speed and performance delivered from this series. Mushkin plans to continue the REDLINE tradition by placing emphasis on highest performance, excellent over-clocking potential, and relative value.”

Today, Mushkin announced a new addition to their acclaimed REDLINE series. To meet the needs of many power users and PC gamers for more than 1GB of system ram, Mushkin seeks to put forth some of the best 2GB kits for the end users, maximising their system performance – introducing the Mushkin 2GB XP4000 REDLINE Dual kit.

The Mushkin 2GB XP4000 REDLINE are 2×1GB dual channel kits designed for operation at 250MHz with relatively tight timings of 3-3-2-8 ( cas 3, trcd 3, trp 2, and tras 8 ). Breaking away from previous series of REDLINE modules requiring high voltage for rated specifications, surprisingly, these new dual kits operates at a nominal voltage of 2.6-2.9V.

Currently, the dual kit model is priced at $331, at its own website. Providing enhanced high performance and extreme value for money, quality-controlled product, this new module seems perfect for every games extremists, and high-performance PC users.
