2,ooo Dollar XBox 360

XBox360 Bundle
Whilst doing my usual gadget site trawl I came across a post on Gadget Review about an extraordinary XBox 360 bundle that you can pre-order.

I’m pretty sure everybody knows that the XBox 360 is Microsoft’s next assault on the games console market, it seems to have been hyped for at least a year and is due out in time for Christmas (funny that).

The software shop GameStop is offering a pre-order bundle that will keep every millionaire gamer happy.

The bundle costs a cent shy of 2K, which is pretty excessive for a games console IMO but it does include the following:

  • 1. Xbox 360 System
  • 2. Perfect Dark Collector’s Edition
  • 3. Project Gotham Racing 3
  • 4. Kameo: Elements of Power
  • 5. Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
  • 6. Dead or Alive 4
  • 7. Call of Duty 2
  • 8. GUN
  • 9. Quake 4
  • 10. Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland
  • 11. Condemned
  • 12. Madden NFL 06
  • 13. Amped 3
  • 14. Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter
  • 15. NBA 2K6
  • 16. NHL 2K6
  • 17. Top Spin 2
  • 18. Ridge Racer 6
  • 19. Need For Speed: Most Wanted
  • 20. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06
  • 21. Fifa 06
  • 22. 3 Xbox 360 Wireless Controllers
  • 23. Xbox 360 64 MB Memory Unit
  • 24. Xbox 360 Play and Charge Kit
  • 25. Xbox 360 Rechargeable Battery
  • 26. Xbox 360 Wireless Network Adapter
  • 27. Fuego Faceplate
  • 28. Xbox Live 12 Month Card
  • 29. 1 Year Product Replacement Plan

If you thinking of buying this for your kids for Christmas be warned there are some mature (17+) games here. If you have more than one offspring make them share as it’s good to teach them that important life lesson (as well as being kind to the plastic). Obviously you need to test all the games yourself first (into the early hours of the morning).

WOW! is all I have to say. $2,000 (USD I’m assuming) Is alot of cash. I know there are going to be 3 versiona of the xBox 360 upon release date, and I’m going to go with my better judgment and say that this bundle includes the higher priced option?

Now, for 2,000 dollars, you would expect this huge bundle of games to come along with it. All of them seem to be pretty strong franchise titles, with only a select few I wouldn’t spend time with myself.

I must say, that for $2k, and I had that kind of money to blow around, I would buy the xBox 360, PS3, and a Revolution (Nintendo, only for the new Zelda game of course). Meaning, I would rather have all three new gen systems then blow $2,000 dollars on one system that comes with a bit of extras (which you could buy 3rd party stuff for posibly half the price).
