Palm or iPAQ

IPAQ
Steve slowly walked into the building. Immediately all eyes went to his waist. Yeah he was packing. A closer inspection revealed that there was going to be trouble.

Steve was wearing his new iPAQ hx2755. Problem was he was now in PalmOS territory and they didn’t take kindly to Pocket PCs. They didn’t care that it has 256 MB of memory or that it has biometric fingerprint scanner. All they cared about was his technology was different from theirs. He was an enemy.

In the ever increasing divided world of PDAs most owner draw a hard line. That line normally comes down to PalmOS and PocketPC. This divide separates coworkers, siblings, parents from children, and even spouses. PDA owners equate this division to that of the gansta wars involving the Bloods and the Crips. Instead of being targeted for wearing red or blue, people are now targeted based on if they are wearing Palm or Pocket.

Steve was taken outside and severely beaten for daring to come into Palm territory with his PocketPC. His new iPAQ hx2755 was smashed. The message was sent and Steve had received it loud and clear.

As soon as he got out of the hospital he bought a Tungsten E2 and his former enemies even wheeled him out to a liquid lunch.

This is rather interesting. I currently own a Tungsten T2, running PalmOS. However, with the upcoming trend, I see PalmOS soon to be replaced by Windows OS….
