Equipped with an automatic pan and tilt for an amazingly wide 200° horizontal and 105° vertical view. Together with its advanced CCD image sensor (instead of older CMOS versions) and USB 2.0 Hi-Speed certification, it captures super sharp and detailed images. So you get the perfect video every time.

Designed with a classy and refined surface, this Creative web cam, however does not come cheap, despite coated with a simple plastic surface. It is available in both gray and white, with a silver Creative logo engraved at the side, circled by an attractive blue ring, when powered on with a USB source. The adjustable multi-attach base allows the web cam to be mounted on various surfaces, even on uneven contours of a LCD monitor. However, it is found that one of the drawback of the camera is that the USB cable is not long enough.

The internal circuitry of the 1.3-Megapixel CCD sensor camera are deliberately left visible underneath protective plastic. And as the name suggests, the camera actually moves, unlike conventional static web cam, motorized by a small engine, the web cam is capable of panning and tilting, in addition to 4x digital zooming. Packaged with a software tool, it allows image captured of resolution up to 1920 x 720 panoramic shot.

The Creative WebCam Live! Motion also has a remote monitoring function, which allows capturing still images over a period of time, and upload images to a server, via FTP. It too has motion-detection capability, capturing motion pictures at 30 frames per second.

Priced at US$149, the web cam does seems a little dear compared to others. Nonetheless, it is compensated by some exquisite and expensive functionalities, and stylish finishing on the surface.
